APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
A suitable amount of oxalic acid (approx. 1-2 g) is measured using the measuring spoon provided.
The gas cartridge burner is screwed onto a gas cartridge (not included) and then attached to the sublimator.
The sublimator is turned upside down, the can filled with oxalic acid is placed in place, and the device is returned to an upright position so that the powder falls into the heating chamber.
The gas cartridge burner is switched on at the lowest level.
Once the sublimator is sufficiently heated, sublimation begins - white smoke comes out of the device.
The sublimator is inserted into the hive's entrance hole and remains there for about 30-45 seconds until all of the oxalic acid has evaporated.
IMPORTANT:
The flame of the gas cartridge burner should always be set to the lowest setting. The burner is only switched on for a short time - just until the inner chamber heats up sufficiently and smoke comes out. It should then be switched off and switched on again briefly if necessary.
DURATION OF SUBLIMATION:
Approximately 30-45 seconds per hive.
